Weaver is definitely a "Lappy-dor" and truly watches more TV (sitting upright with me in the recliner) than any other dog I know when she is not playing or bringing me things she has found. She acts more like a little kid than a dog, but she is heavily muscled and athletic. She didn't hesitate to grab the first duck ever thrown for her and has picked up on how to mark falls really quickly. She's not done maturing, but she earned her International Championship in 2023, and later a conformation certificate at LRC National events week. She is working on junior hunter (two passes so far), HRC started (also two passes) and obedience titles in 2024. Eventually I hope to do scent work competitions with her because I believe she has an aptitude for detection work.
